Mobile Youth Project

The Mobile Youth Project is a youth club that operates out of a mini-bus visiting different locations around Southwark; bringing services to young people aged 11-19. Young people with a disability are welcome up to age 25.
The mini buses are fitted with TVs, Xbox, seating areas, I-pod connection and laptops as well as sports equipment and facilities to sit outside.
How we work?
-
To work with young people who are not using other youth provision;
-
To identify the needs of individuals and groups;
-
To initiate projects to meet these needs;
-
To give information on issues that affect young people;
-
To help young people access other services, such as advice on careers, drug misuse and health.
When are we around?
The Mobile Youth Project will spend around 3-4 evenings per week engaging and supporting young people out on the streets in your community. The time may vary to suit the needs of the young people - 6.30-9pm; 5.30-8pm; 4.30-7pm.
