Application Process

The Second round for the Mind You Own Business bursary will soon be announced.  If you didn't apply in the first round don't worry because in March we will be opening the process up again for the second round so watch this space!

What does the proces involve?

Once our online application opens you will have a month to apply via our online application form and tell all about your business idea. Those who are successful will go through the second stage, where they will receive support to write up your business plan. First Round

Nine young people were successful in the first round of the bursary and you can find out more about their story in the next edition of Southwark Life.  We'll also have more information about their journey soon.

Community Restoration Fund

More than£50,000 will be used to help young people kick start their own business but where did the money come from? In April 2012, Southwark Council set aside a £1million fund to help support businesses and young people affected by the 2011 disturbances.
